Red Lion Books is delighted to be hosting an evening with Essex based artist, herbalist and visual anthropologist Lora Azz as part of Snapping the Stiletto: Campaigning for Equality programme

Foraging, nature, folklore, recipes

Through short tales, photo stories, original remedies and recipes explore the recollections of a diverse group of women connecting cultural heritage and the natural abundance of Essex.  From the legends of common Mugwort and Mersea Island Wakame salad to Rosehip Masoor daal, Lora will show us her beautifully produced publication, play a short film (17 minutes) and talk with us about her subject.  She will be serving foraged tea.

The event is £5 to attend but this is redeemable against any book.
