2D3D are an informal group of painters, potters and printmakers who have lived and worked in the Tendring area for many years. Together they aim to uphold the spirit of making ‘art for all’ by making art accessible and fun through courses, workshops, events and exhibitions.

Artists featured in this exhibition are Sue Bennett, Di Humphries, Martina Weatherley, Jean Parsons, Daphne Sandham, Claudia Singer, John Theobald, Judith White, Christine Woodman and Mel King.

Saturday July 30th is Harry Potter Day at Red Lion Books.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

To mark the World Premiere of the ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, opening at the Palace Theatre, London, we are filling the shop with all kinds of Harry Potter style magical mayhem. Try your hand at magical potions making and join the Grand Hogwarts Hunt in the shop. Come along and get in the mood for the launch of the new Harry Potter story.

‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ is the play that forms the eighth instalment of the Harry Potter series and Harry is now grown up with children of his own. The plot line is the year’s best kept secret with those present at the dress rehearsals in London sworn to silence. The book containing the storyline play script is under strict embargo until after the first performance and cannot be sold before July 31st.

We will be opening our doors at midnight on Saturday night for those who want to get their hands on a copy as soon as possible.

‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ RRP £20.00 will be on sale at the special launch price of £15.00.
